This floral mural was selected from my mural flash collection — pre-made mural designs available at reduced price with the option for custom sizing and colors. The owner of this piece was looking for something to add visual interest to her secondary bathroom, a wow-factor and talking piece for an otherwise understated and overlooked space (especially compared to the rest of her lovely home). She had considered wallpaper but didn’t want the hassle of installing it, wasn’t really in-love with any of the designs she found, and wanted more control over the outcome so she could guarantee the space would match her aesthetic and the rest of her home. She decided that she wanted to go with the hydrangea flowers (her mother’s favorite) in two colors for graphic simplicity and interest. We also decided to go big and will the whole apce o the wall parallel to the mirror and carry it over to the space around the door to make it feel fully incorporated into the space rather than just plopped onto the wall. The final mural is a sweet compliment to her style, making it feel like a part of her home rather than just an extra, forgotten bathroom.
